#7: I didn't know that my voice could do that, until...

Hi Reader Welcome back,

My September letter delved into the concept of the "comfort box," exploring the fine line between comfort and being comfortable, and how it could impact your long term goals.

Were you able to evaluate where you stand and if anything is holding you back from your goals or any missed opportunities?

Hope you are ready for this months letter, I am truly excited about this letter because it involves bringing you ideas, tips, resources, and so much more.

Letter #7

Hi there,

Before I share what this letter is about, I want you to know that I did not forget to send out the letter on the last Monday of October. It was missed on purpose. Here's why:

This month’s letter is about Finding Your Voice. In October there was an event I was collaborating on related to the topic. So, I decided to wait until today to discuss this because I wanted to incorporate an event that occurred on November 2nd which was relevant to this topic.

As one of the founders of Inspirame Latina Foundation, I had the honor of being a part of the Finding Your Voice event in Miami October 24th. WOW. Yes WOW. Simply said this panel connected with all the attendees and they left feeling eager and ready to make their voices stand out. The conversation was filled with uplifting, inspiring and empowering stories with action driven tips from a well versed panel.

As the emcee I opened up the event by sharing a glimpse of my journey with finding my voice, and it got me thinking. Why is it so challenging for people to openly express their true selves, and break through barriers within and outside of their control? The response will be different for everyone. What I do know for sure is that finding your voice is about:

  • Feeling empowered.
  • Being able to be authentic and confident in who you are.
  • No longer feeling like you need to change in order to fit in.
  • Going through a healing transformation allowing you to move forward.
  • Allows you to step outside of your comfort zone.

So what are a few ways you can find your voice?

  • Attending events, such as the one I recently participated in, can provide reassurance that you are not alone on your journey. It highlights that everyone experiences moments of fear or trauma, with a path on finding your voice and a way to move ahead.
  • Acknowledge that you have a special purpose to share a gift with the world. If you hesitate, you are depriving someone of their gift.
  • If a mistake is hindering your progress, the key to advancing is by discovering the lesson within that mistake because it holds the crucial key to moving forward.
  • Understanding that you are valuable and worthy.
  • And of course I have to add journaling because it allows you to release and hear your voice as you write.

Finding your voice is a way to explore new possibilities and perspectives that challenge you to grow. And it makes you feel alive.

And this is the what I felt on November 2nd. As you know I have been working on my rebranding and created a new home for all of my businesses; The Catalyst Bridge Agency. Well a few weeks ago a friend asked me, when I was going to have my launch celebration and I said I have it on my to-do list. She said, "don't forget to celebrate you." So that was the light switch for me, and I immediately worked on the celebration and three weeks later I was celebrating with friends, family and colleagues.

Why am I sharing this? Because on the celebration day, I shared my story with the guests and I was confident, courageous and was beaming like a bright light. I discovered my voice over six years ago, and now I truly own it. I openly express my authentic self, emphasizing the unique qualities that make me special and helps others.

The gift? My purpose is to inspire, encourage and bring forth possibilities to all who are seeking it.

So now I ask you, have you found your voice or are you struggling to find it? Explore your why and proceed ahead with sharing your voice. Write down 2 to 3 reasons why you should share your voice?

This month you get two letters, so stay tuned for my next letter on the 25th.

Love, Hugs, and Kisses. xoxo

Hi Reader Welcome back, Last month I shared how some simple yet powerful words can preserve my sanity, "NO MORE, NO MAS". I tasked you with taking a moment and assessing your current situation to see who might be in your space draining your positive energy and happiness. Did you find anything out? Were you able to take a good moment to see if your space was being invaded by those who are emotionally depleting you? If so, did you try one of the tips, as well as found a space to shout out, "NO...
